I am delighted to participate in the Concluding Function of the Silver Jubilee of All India Confederation of the Blind. My greetings to all the members of the Confederation, ophthalmologists, optometrists, medical social workers, medical technologists and distinguished guests. I am happy to know that the Confederation has made many important contributions towards removing the pain of visually challenged persons. I greet the Officers, Master Warrant Officers, Warrant Officers, other ranks, technicians and non-combatants of ASTE and Institute of Aerospace Medicine. I commend all ranks for the yeoman service rendered by them while safeguarding the security of our nation. I am aware that this is a very challenging and daunting task.</p><p>ASTE is the Air Force's Flight Test center and enjoys the distinction of being the best training establishment for test pilots in Asia.
